fourteen years

Today is our fourteenth anniversary.

But as a reminder that life goes on regardless, Claire has had a fever, stomach cramps and headache since yesterday. Thankfully the fever seems to be gone this afternoon, but she's still not a happy camper. Looks like it will be an evening in for us.

Happy anniversary, hun... circumstances being what they are today, I know it's not much of an anniversary, but I still get to be with you and that's all I really want. We have the rest of our lives to go out and paint the town red.
