My computer has been giving me fits, not wanting to stay booted up for more than three minutes at a time, so I'm not having much time to get things done before it shuts itself down!

I did manage to edit the photos for my new China Dolls Skirt and Tank, and then listed them with the assistance of my kind husband's computer...

Here's what I've been working on today, a birthday present for my nephew:





This boy lives, eats, breathes, dreams trains.
There are lots of train toys out there, but not a lot of train graphic clothing -
enter handmade.

Since Self Portrait Challenge is doing "Macro" as the theme for February, I decided to spend a few dollars on a lens reversal ring. Small price, huge fun!

Chad gave this to me on our anniversary the year our 1st daughter was born - I wear it like wedding ring because my actual wedding ring always catches on clothes & hair (ouch)

Self Portrait Challenge - Macro - week 1

mini grilled cheese

whole wheat hoagie rolls cut into 1/2" slices

8 oz. whole milk mozzerella, divided into 12 slices
(other sliced or shredded cheeses are good, too)

olive oil in the pan

cook over medium heat until crispy and golden... mmm hmmmm....


serve with tomato soup (or your favorite soup)
for a heartwarming lunch on a cold day!
