As I was walking the beach early on our first morning there, I was reminded of Jesus' words of reassurance - not a single sparrow falls without God's knowing. This immediately led me to this thought - not a single sea creature that lived in these shells vacated the shell without God knowing.
And as I stood there among shells of all shapes & sizes, I felt blissfully small and wonderfully cared for at the same time.
see what looks like a lighter tan reflection in the center of this beach?
and the dots everywhere that look like rocks?
those are the shells...
That's Nicole sitting in the water -
her body expression is a lot like how I felt inside the whole time we were there.
There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:
I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know its true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of God
So look around you and see where YOU can see God's fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them? Here's how to join in:
1. Blog with your interpretation of God's fingerprints.
2. Be sure to link so others can find the entire list of participants! Go over to PamperingBeki's blog to add your link to the list of participants.

You know, that is one of my favorite things to do..Walk the beach and look for shells..Have found many sand dollars here, I think they are a bit different from the ones we had from Florida.
What wonderful fingerprints and the shot of your daughter is the greatest..Happy Fingerprint Friday.
I live near the sea and walking along the beach never fails to make me feel small and finding a lovely shell is like a treasure.
Great photos!
What magnificent photos! Makes me long to go to the beach. Even though it makes us feel small to see this immensity, God's love for each one of us is so huge.
Thank you for sharing a place whereyou can always see God :)
Walking along the beach reminds me of the beautiful poem "Footprints". God is always with us in all that we do.
I can hear the waves crashing and feel relaxed just by looking at your pictures. I think people overlook empty sea shells. What a great fingerprint friday post!
beautiful pics. I love the ocean and it truly is one of God's masterpieces.
I feel the same way, everyday that I live here on Sanibel. God is all around me, holding me close. The summer clouds that I see here, make me feel like I am in heaven. :-) That was a lovely post and photo of your daughter.
WOW! thank you so much for sharing that. i love the beach and shells, but have never seen that many in one place before! what a great way of turning your attention from all these shells to the God who cares so much for us!
